	Dhakouane Ennifar called Dhak \| Lead Vocalist From his earliest years, he was immersed into the arab music inspired by his own mother :singer and oud player. The first musical influences were the tunisian local chant and religious ones but also Mohamed Abdelwahab, Oum Kalthoum and Fairuz.. Quickly signed up for musical classes at the conservatory, he takes music theory, harmony and singing lessons..there he discovered the passion for classic piano and practised it for several years (with main reference: Rameau and Tchaïkovski). Over the years, the music influences increased to western world's music and mainly rock music. Thus, it expanded from Nirvana, AC/DC, Red hot chili peppers, RATM, Radiohead, Ben Harper, some Skate rock...to Slipknot, SOAD..to recently Incubus, Flyleaf, God is an astronaut... From one experience in a band to an another, he finally decided, in Paris, among Shiban members, to develop his earmark of modulating his voice sometimes soft, sometimes fierce in order to inhabit his different characters.
	Arnaud Roy \| Guitarist & backing Vocals Coming from a family of musicians, he get one's bearing in playing the guitar rounded up by his father also a guitar player. Around 11 years old, on his first electric guitar, he tries to perform Santana, The Shadows, Jimmy Hendrix and Pink Floyd. Times are changing and the attractiveness of music became increasingly blurred. But at 18 years old, his interest in music reappears. He sings for the first time while playing on his folk guitar some songs from DePalmas, Indochine, Téléphone. Further one, the welter of rock music will bring him back to the electric guitar. This mixing of musical influences echoes in his playing until today: from Noir désir, Wampas to Déportivo for french rock music , and Subways, Arctic Monkeys, Clash, Ramones, Green Day, Led Zep, AC/DC, Guns n' Roses, Pink Floyd, Deftones, Tool...for the rest. In 2006, growing tired of playing on his own he decided to create a band and he finally joined the adventure of ShiBan.
	Tristan Ferreira alias Tus \| Drummer Young, he was guided by his father (former drummer) to learn drums. Thus,at 4 years old, he get into Agostini School in Orléans. There he learned how to hold sticks and to keep the rhythm! During the first 15 years, he was mainly interested by the technical side of songs until a friend of him will make him discover through a best-of CD from the irish band U2. Rock music will be then his main influence with bands like Green day, SOAD, Thousand Foot Krutch, Coldplay, FoB, OneRepublic, Spoken... In parallel, his passion for cinema and mangas brings him to know music from Danny Elfman, John Williams, David Newman et E S Posthumus, some J-Pop from Yui, hearts Grow or Lotus Juice and some J-rock from Beat Crusaders, Orange Range or Uverworld. At 18 years old, mainly due to his studies, he will stop for two years. But just some weeks after his moving to Paris, in 2003, Dhak asked him for a try to form a band. Since that day, they are still playing together.
	Romain Guichard alias Rom \| bassist Music took a decisive place in his life from an early age by listening to the rock music his father was listenning to: Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits or evenmore the Rolling Stones... He started with the piano at the age of 11 and played some classic as Beethoven, Satie, Chopin or Bach. But soon attracted to the groove, he tries the bass for two years. Desiring to grow this seed later, he joined the school of Francis Darizcuren in Macon where he will validate his first music cycle. At the end of the school, he formed his first band with his own brother and played funk and jazz music. Thus, he discovered, for more than 3 years, the joys of café-concerts. Music took an important place in his life. And in August 2011, he decided to change his environment and get to the capital, Paris. It took short time for the band Shiban (via Tus) to ask him for an audition. ...Rom joined Shiban!

Biography

In 2006, it is in the Parisian studios that the first line-up was revealed.

Made up of 5 students, the band is trying to find itself, but already got its name: Shiban.

In 2007, after the walkout of Krys (guitarist) and the arrival of a cellist, Max, Shiban explored new dimensions and tried to develop its own sound. It’s a melting pot of styles and genres that points up a contrast between Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Punk and Metal.

The composing began to reach maturity, and the band made its first scenes between Orleans and Paris.

However, the clash of ideas overrode the music stuff.

Mid-2008, in this slighty heavy atmosphere, Flo (former bassist) decided suddenly to quit.

Shiban seems to be lost in the hood when Max had to leave some months abroad to pursue his studies.

In order to go on stage, the band had to find its new bass player and an alternative way to fill in the absence of Max.

After several failed attempts in late 2008, it all starts up again with the successive arrival of the new bass player.

While awaiting the comeback of Max, Shiban is performing with :

Dhak (Lead vocals), Arnaud (guitar&backing vocals), Tristan (drums) and the particpation of Herve (bass) and Thanh (violin).

It seems to match! The band is more welded than ever! but there is still work to do…

Sophie will give the helping hand needed to the band.

While the musicians are working their music ardently deep in the darkness of the studios, Sophie will manage the comeback of Shiban on stage.

The work is bearing fruit, and the band retrieves lives.

According to the good public return on its music, the band decided to capture some composing on a CD.

End of 2009, the band slows down lives in order to prepare its entry into the studio in December for 4 days of recording.

In February 2010, after a long process mastering the CD-3-tracks “For Her” from Shiban is finally released.

Several lives were done during the year.

End of 2010, Hervé is forced to quit Shiban for private reasons.

While Dhak and Arnaud were roaming in the music show in Paris, they met Valentin who was testing a bass.

There’s a good vibe between them!

That time, the band’s line-up is : Dhak, Arnaud, Tristan, Valentin and Max (participating for the composition)

During a full year, Valentin brought his genuine to the band during lives but also compositions. But Valentin had to stop in order to succeed into his studies.

Meanwhile, the ambitions of the band are stil remaining, and you will soon discover them …
